August opened with Kodak Black fighting NBA Youngboy's fans. Now that we reached mid-month, Black and NBA Youngboy are the ones butting heads once more.
Kodak Black voiced his displeasure with NBA Youngboy's fanbase. He tried to say it's the fandom that he's pissed at but has no beef with Youngboy -- things quickly changed after that. This week, he went on a rampage against NBA Youngboy so much so that his own social media account had to be disabld.
After Kodak, whose real name is Bill Kapri, called all recent rap albums "mid" on Instagram live, YB's followers did what they do best: troll him. They responded immediately to the Florida native's remarks with phrases such as "YB better." This caused Kodak to post on Twitter and express his displeasure with the lot, claiming their bad attitude is what drags YoungBoy into a bad light.
"Bra I Like YoungBoy Music ITS JUST THIS N*GGA FANS HOMIE ! OR WHOEVER TF BEHIND ALL THIS #YBBETTER SH*T. THAT SH*T BE IRRITATING [straight face emoji] AND CANT NOBODY ELSE SAY THEY DONT FEEL ME , A N*GGA TOO REAL I AINT HATING ON NO F*CKIN BODY I JUST SAY WHAT EVERYBODY ELSE SCARED TO SAY."
Youngboy, whose birth name is Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, observed Kodak's comments and decided to drop him a message on Instagram. After discussing his most recent work, "The Last Slimeto," he closed his message by stating, ""P.S. you don't like my fans I don't like you "p*ssy."
After this, everything went awry.
Kodak Black went on a Twitter rage Wednesday night, posting messages that appeared to reflect his dissatisfaction with the native of Louisiana, and not mincing words about how "stupid" he sees NBA YoungBoy. He even added that respect is earned not imposed.
"B*tch A** N*gga KNOW FIRSTHAND I STAND UP TO DAT SMOKE! I Could Never B P*ssy BIG MONKEY NUTS #YOUKNOW FR FR!," is what the 25-year-old wrote online. He also added, "N*GGAS GET ON THIS NET & PLAY STUPID," before saying that respect is earned.
Following his constant tweeting, Kodak's profile was disabled. As of now, Youngboy has yet to respond to his posts. It's likely to get explosive.
Fans are quite happy.
Kodak and NBA YoungBoy had a cordial connection prior to 2020, appearing on songs such as "Water" and "Chosen One" together in 2017. In April of 2020, while Kodak was incarcerated on federal guns charges, he accused YoungBoy of collaborating with the police when YoungBoy's girlfriend, Iyana Mayweather, was arrested for a stabbing at the Louisiana rapper's Houston residence.
