Jon Hill's death is surrounded by mystery, still. It has already been almost a week since he died but the real cause of death is yet to be determined. Instead, what is clear is what his state was when he was found lifeless.
A representative of the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner confirmed in an email to Page Six that the renowned drummer was declared dead on a sidewalk.
The cause of his death has been postponed pending additional testing. The results of the autopsy will take "months," according to the representative.
His court file indicates that Jon's body has been released to his family. Jaclyn Hill, a YouTube celebrity who rose to stardom by posting cosmetic tips on the internet, revealed this week that her ex-husband passed away on August 10, 2022. He was 33 years of age.
A few days later, Jaclyn posted an emotional ode to Jon, describing him as "the kindest and most sensitive person" she had ever known.
She said on social media, "You looked people in the eyes & you truly listened & cared about what they had to say,. She added, "You had so much talent you didn't even know what to do with it. You turned your pain into art & touched so many people with your honesty in your music."

The 32-year-old founder of Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics and Jon wed in 2009, but announced their separation in 2018 because they did not mesh as husband and wife. Jon later admitted to Billboard in 2019 that his problem with drug addiction was the reason for their separation.
"During our third year of marriage, it got to a point where I was having seizures because I was on so much stuff," he told the outlet at the time. "I started breaking out in hives. So it became noticeable that something was wrong." Jon disclosed that he eventually sobered up, but Jaclyn "decided she no longer wanted to remain" with him.
Last month, Jaclyn revealed during an Instagram Q&A that Jon "has not been doing well for a very long time. He hasn't had a phone in months & no one has contact with him."
She is currently engaged to Jordan Torrey, more known as Jordan Farnum.
