Bruce Willis is not discouraged by his aphasia diagnosis.

The Monday's Instagram post by his wife Emma Hewitt Willis featured footage of the 67-year-old actor playing the harmonica with musician Derek Richard Thomas.

Bruce wore a plaid shirt and sat at the bottom of the stairs as his pal sang and played the guitar in the black-and-white music video.

Emma, 44, described the moment as an "impromptu jam session" between the two music lovers, adding, "Their talent is speaking for itself." Approximately five months after being diagnosed with aphasia, Bruce appeared to be in good spirits in the video.

Emma, Willis' ex-wife Demi Moore, and their children Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 28, announced in March that the "Die Hard" actor was retiring from performing due to his disease. According to the Mayo Clinic, the condition impairs people's communication abilities, including their capacity to talk, write, and comprehend both spoken and written language.

Since then, Emma has been vocal on social media about her husband's "confidence" in the face of his health struggles. "My motto is don't let the fear stop you. Why? Because fear constantly stops me Which is another reason I fell for my husband, fear has never stopped him," she wrote on Instagram in June, alongside a video of Bruce singing with "The Temptations" in 1987.

Although the Emmy-winning actor has retired from the big screen, he appears to have rediscovered his passion for music. Bruce recorded two albums between 1987 and 1989: "The Return of Bruno" and "If It Doesn't Kill You, It Only Makes You Stronger."

Bruce Willis' extensive acting career is his most notable accomplishment. Willis, formerly a sitcom performer, went to film and became one of Hollywood's biggest stars with films such as "Die Hard" and "The Sixth Sense."

However, the multitalented performer enjoys music and has released several albums. On the 1985 hit television sitcom "Moonlighting," Bruce Willis displayed his singing abilities. He could play harmonica, had a respectable singing voice, and adored blues music.

Bruno Randolini was born when he signed with the iconic record label Motown Records. In 1987, HBO produced "The Return of Bruno," a mockumentary starring Bruce Willis. The film examines the impact of New Jersey rock singer Bruno Randolini on the music industry. It's a mix of Bon Jovi and This Is Spinal Tap.

The cast of "The Return of Bruno" included 1980s celebrities Phil Collins, Michael J. Fox, Ringo Starr, Brian Wilson, Dick Clark, and the Bee Gees.

They all acknowledge Bruno's musical influence and identify him as an inspiration. In one scene, Elton John relays the best piece of advice ever given to him by Bruno: "Excess is the key to success."

On January 20, 1987, the soundtrack to "The Return of Bruno" was released.

It climbed to No. 14 on the Billboard 200. The album's biggest song, a rendition of "Respect Yourself" by The Staple Singers, reached at No. 5 on the Billboard 100. The song featured June Pointer of The Pointer Sisters on vocals.
