Iggy Azalea's pop past reared its ugly head in a music video recently published on YouTube.
Site user Alieyah Adams posted "Nothing Like Me," a music video the Australian did at an unknown point of her career. StyleIte unearthed the video on Monday afternoon, and surmised that the vid was made sometime between 2006 (when Iggy moved to the U.S.) and 2010, one year before her rap career got started with the Ignorant Art mixtape.
"Nothing Like Me" definitely has a Lady Gaga/Britney Spears vibe, and the 97-second clip is full of sexually suggestive "dance moves" set to what is, more or less, an Auto-Tuned dumpster fire.

Of course, Iggy has hit it big since then. Her song "Fancy" sat on top of the Billboard charts for several weeks, and she's essentially been thrown into the mainstream over the past few months.
But with fame comes a microscope, and a strong anti-Iggy movement has surfaced given her skin color and the fact that she's likely an industry pawn (Don't worry, though: T.I. has her back).
Azalea was recently spotted performing "Fancy" on The Today Show, and will reportedly team up with Lil' Kim to take down mutual nemesis Nicki Minaj.
"I got a call from Kim," T.I. said. "She said it's time to find that record to get [an Iggy collaboration] done."
Why's that?
"Well, in the game of chess, you must think five moves ahead, protect your pieces and cover the board," he said.
No word yet on Iggy's chess prowess, but Sunday night, Azalea took home choice R&B/hip-hop artist and choice R&B/hip-hop song ("Fancy") at the Teen Choice Awards.
