In a new interview on Thursday, David Harbour unveiled the song that will serve as his personal defense against Vecna.

"Oh god. Oh god, oh god. It's just so embarrassing, my taste in music, I rarely reveal it," the Stranger Things star confessed in a virtual appearance on E! News' Nightly Pop on August 17.

He said it has a lot to do with the fact that this is the jam that made his college days all the more sweeter.

"My sort of college years were the early '90s. So that's really where music really became very important, was like sitting around in the dorm room, you know, jamming out to Counting Crows and Stone Temple Pilots," he shared.

Because of that influence, Harbour only had one answer to the question being thrown to almost all "Stranger Things" cast.

"'Mr. Jones' by Counting Crows I'm sure would bring me back. Bring me back to college!" the actor said excitedly.

The actor, who portrays Jim Hopper on the hit Netflix sci-fi series, also revealed how he transformed for his season 4 storyline, in which the trustworthy Indiana sheriff is imprisoned in Russia.

Vecna was featured during the fourth season of "Stranger Things" as the new face of dread in Hawkins, Indiana. Its specially gross power is stealing the prey's and thorwing him or her into a trance, eventually breaking every bone in his or her body.

The monster's achilles heel however is his prey's favorite song. If Vecna puts you in a trance, your favorite music can help you break out of it, as we witnessed when Vecna attacked Max and her friends used Kate Bush's "Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God)" to break her out of her trance. Since this episode, there had been articles published about some of the main cast's "Vecna" song.

Even though Max's Vecna song in the show is ultimately "Running Up That Hill," if Sadie Sink (who plays Max) had her way, it'll be a totally different song.

Sadie Sink, who participated in Taylor Swift's "All Too Well" video opposite Dylan O'Brien, confirmed that her Vecna song would be a more recent Swift hit from "Folklore" in an interview with Netflix about the show's fourth season.

Noah Schnapp also shared his own Vecna song on Twitter, a chart-topping Cardi B single that left Joyce Byers dumbfounded.

On June 6, Jamie Campbell Bower, who portrays the nightmare antagonist who terrorizes Hawkins, revealed that his "Vecna" song would be similar to "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus, an unusual choice for an on-screen demon but a catchy one.
