Chris Young Snags His 13th #1 Single
The platinum-selling artist released a collaboration track with Mitchell Tenpenny titled "At The End of a Bar" and it immediately amassed massive success.
According to CMT, the country stars topped the Billboard and Country radio charts.
The outlet noted that the song revolves around the narrative of a 2021 blizzard at a bar in Nashville, Tennessee.
Even though most of the establishments around the city were shut down due to the weather, the duo sat down and worked.
Speaking about the meaning of the song, Young said their experience was a "true testament" to not skip any work days because you'll never know what happen.
"It's also a hell of a lot of fun to sing, and Mitchell Tenpenny and I had entirely too much fun stacking vocals on this, so we had to make it a duet," he added.
The track is a part of Young's album "Famous Friends."
Both musicians took the stage at this year's ACM Awards where they performed the song in front of thousands of people.
The event took place at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada.
"At The End of the Bar" sealed Chris Young's name as one of the most successful musicians in the country music scene as it became his 13th song to hit number one and 11th as a songwriter.
