Months after Meek Mill reportedly exited Jay-Z's Roc Nation Management, speculations that the two are beefing have emerged online.
Although Meek has publicly declared that he left the management on good terms, some fans think that his friendship with the rap mogul has already been tarnished.
Now, in DJ Khaled's newest song with Jay-Z, the latter has finally cleared the air on the actual score between him and Meek Mill.
Meek Mill, Jay-Z Beefing? The Truth Revealed
Meek Mill has been quite expressive on Twitter recently since he departed Roc Nation last July.
Rumors of his alleged beef with Jay-Z came about after leaving Roc Nation, which the "Empire State of Mind" rapper owns.
However, Meek initially addressed and cleared out his reasons for leaving.
The "All Eyes on You" hitmaker said in a follow-up tweet that he considers Roc Nation to be his "family," asking fans not to mix his initial statements for Atlantic Records with MMG or Roc Nation.
"I'm doing we made about a 100m together des mike and Hov saved my life b4 And put a lot of energy into it I'm not behind on my favors in life wit my people I'm good," Meek furthered.
However, fans were not convinced by these declarations that they still believe that Meek has also soured his relationship with Hov.
But now, thanks to DJ Khaled's new song, hip-hop fans can now breathe as Mr. Carter finally cleared the air.
In DJ Khaled's new song, "GOD DID," he recruited the rap titan Jay-Z as a featured artist, along with Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Fridayy, and John Legend.
"Me and Meek could never beef, I freed that n-gga from a whole bid, Hov did. Next time we have a discussion who the G.O.A.T., you donkeys know this," Jay-Z sang.
With this new bar, Meek Mill and Jay-Z Beef rumors are now squashed since Meek already clarified that he is good with Jay-Z after leaving.
Recently, Meek went on a fiery rant - placing a bet on music labels who he said have declared that his music career is already over.
"And ima do it from independent side no major vibes to make effortless. This is not a joke this for people that fake call the shots in this music industry. They really be washed and try to place there limits on you and want you to believe it sneverrrrrr!," Meek retorted.
