Megan Thee Stallion is still new in the music industry as she only debuted a few years ago, but she's not holding back when it comes to her opinions when it comes to fans.
Recently, the rapstress called out supporters who are instigating drama and issues between female musicians in the rap industry.
Speaking on "Caresha Please" with Yung Miami, the "Savage" hitmaker answered a question when she was asked if she feels like female rappers have been in "those type of predicaments" when they can't work with somebody because they have beef with other musicians.
The songstress answered, "I feel like, just friends in general when you know your friend might not feel so good about somebody, do you like, go out your way to be like, 'Okay, bitch, I'm not f******* with you. Period.'" (via Uproxx)
She added that it's interesting for fans to see artists refuse business opportunities in music when it comes to collaborations and releasing duets.
Megan also noted that fans "keep it up more" than the rappers themselves and they "got the world thinking something that's not happening."
Not The First Time Megan Thee Stallion Opened Up About The Issue
Back in 2019, when the rapper was just starting in the hip-hop industry, Megan opened up about how fanbases usually instigate "beef" between female musicians.
She noted that she always connects with women rappers despite their popularity status because she's trying to keep them all together.
"A lot of beef between women gets started because of their fanbases, I feel like," she said.
The outlet noted that the conversation is very timely as many of the issues surrounding female artists began with fan theories or speculations.
Recently, Cardi B confronted a Barb, a Nicki Minaj fan, after accusing her husband Offset of cheating on her with another rapper, Saweetie.
She noted that the fan has been spreading lies on social media as they never presented any "receipts" or proof that her husband was cheating on her.
The rapper, who previously collaborated with Megan for "WAP," also opened up about the topic in 2020, saying when female stars get popular, fans shouldn't tear them down as many of them want to start "fake beef."
As of this writing, Saweetie has not reacted to the tweets.
