Many music producers or DJs have been taking the world by storm through their music and since their songs are dominating the charts, they could earn a hefty amount of money off of it.

It all started when a Twitter user shared a curious question, asking how musicians like DJ Khaled and Harris make money as most of their songs featured vocals from other artists.
Explaining his side, the "This Is What You Came For" hitmaker said he earns revenue because he writes, produces, mixes, plays every instrument, and sometimes does vocals for his songs.
"We found love, Summer, Feel so close for example 100% publishing because I did everything. Only reason I got Frank Ocean feature was he told me we found love was one of his favorite songs," he added.
The DJ concluded his post by saying he was the one who wrote the hit Rihanna-featuring song "We Found Love."

Calvin Harris may be one of the highest-paid DJs/music producers of all time, but little did fans know that he first started as a stockist at a supermarket in Scotland before rising to fame.
According to SCMP, the "Skrt On Me" hitmaker has an estimated net worth of $300 million.
His income mainly comes from his music and live performances as he's reportedly getting paid $400,000 per gig on his Las Vegas Residency.
He also earned a whopping $100 million from touring several times over the past years.
In addition, he previously sold his music catalog to Vine Alternative Investments for a shocking $100 million, which included more than a hundred tracks from his career, spanning from collaborations with Dua Lipa for "One Kiss," Ariana Grande, Sam Smith, and many more.
He also gets money from his YouTube account as he currently has more than 18 million subscribers. The DJ reportedly earnes $7.50 for every 1000 views on his platform.
Harris was once on the top spot of the highest paid DJ for six consecutive weeks until he was dethroned by The Chainsmokers' Alex Pall and Drew Taggart on Forbes' Highest-Paid DJs list in 2019.
At the time, he placed third after the DJ duo and Marshmellow as he only earned $46 million during that year.
