The release date of Taylor Swift's new album may be a veiled jab at Kim Kardashian -- or a direct one, who knows with Swift's genius mind? Fans however are not interested if this will lead to an actual feud once more, but is very amazed at how the singer thinks and strategizes.
On August 28 at the MTV Video Music Awards, the pop artist said she will release a new album on October 21. It didn't take long for fans to realize that day is also Kim Kardashian's 42nd birthday.
While this action has Taylor supporters speculating whether or not there is still bad blood between Swift and Kardashian, despite the fact that their years-long rivalry appeared to be over in 2021, some just cannot help but be in awe of how she puts everything together. Nothing feels random with Taylor Swift, which made her fans hope they can actually see her act "messy" one day.
Release Date on Kim Kardashian's Birthday
'Taylor Swift announcing a new album on the 13th anniversary of the Kanye West VMA sh**show, 5 years after the premier of LWYMMD at the VMAs, which will drop on Kim Kardashian's birthday is ICON behaviour,' one fan wrote.
"Oh, Taylor's album is being released on Kim's birthday? WE LOVE TO SEE HER BEING MESSY,' wrote a third Twitter user.
13th Feud Anniversary, 13 Tracks
Swifties pointed out the not-so-subtle irony that Swift announced her album at the VMAs 13 years after Kim's estranged ex famously interrupted her victory speech at the same event.
Another person said, 'It's been 13 years since THAT Kanye-Taylor incident at the VMAs, and now Taylor has decided to reveal her fresh new album with 13 tracks at the VMAs today. The album will be released on October 21, which is also Kim K's birthday. HER MINDDDDD!!!'
Announcement at ANOTHER VMAS
Taylor's earlier dispute with Kanye, which began when he attacked the stage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards when Taylor was being awarded for Video of the Year, launched their enmity.
Then, in 2016, Kanye released "Famous" which included this quite insulting line:
'I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous.'
Taylor was naturally pissed with the lyric, but Ye claimed to have spoken with Swift and received her OK for the song.
Taylor said she had "no idea" Kanye would refer to her as a "b****" in the song. In response, Kim labeled Taylor a "snake."
Kim Kardashian going at her like that almost made Taylor Swift depressed, but she pulled through.
Taylor has already described the terrible Isolation and insults she faced in the weeks following Kardashian's snake analogy.
