Taylor Swift announced a new album titled "Midnights" is coming, during the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards.
It is expected to be released on October 21, the same day her former enemy Kim Kardashian turns 42.
Since the announcement of Taylor Swift's album release date, various media sites have accused the "All Too Well" hitmaker of reigniting their rivalry.
Despite the claims, an insider informed Hollywood Life how the former "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" actress feels about Taylor's current album release overshadowing her birthday.
Good news for fans of both A-list celebrities: the source stated that she is relieved that there is no longer any bad blood between them, and she sees no negative implications from the album release.
In reality, the SKIMS founder believes that what happened is already in the past and that they have moved on from their disagreement.
Kim, on the other hand, wishes the "Blank Space" singer nothing but success and happiness - after all, she is a huge lover of her music.
What Happened To Kim Kardashian and Taylor Swift in 2016?
Their feud started when Kim Kardashian was still married to Kanye West.
The reality star revealed a clip of a tape of her and then-husband's conversation with Taylor Swift about his song "Famous," which was published in 2016.
Kanye reminded Taylor about the lyric in the song that raps, "To all my Southside [N] that know me best, I feel like Taylor Swift could owe me sex" in the brief footage shared on Snapchat.
During that moment, Taylor answered, chuckling, "That's not mean."
However, when the song was published, one of Taylor's reps said that she was unaware of the phrase "I made that b--h famous."
Kim clapped back in a 2016 interview, saying that the "Never Getting Back Together" singer authorized the lyric and knew it would be released.
"He truly was performing appropriate process and even phoned to get it cleared," Kim defended Kanye, adding, "What rapper would call a female that he was rapping a line about to obtain approval?"
Kim Kardashian Admits to Enjoying Taylor Swift's Song
Kim Kardashian said in an interview in December 2021 that she liked Taylor Swift's songs and described them as "very sweet and catchy."
Kim's decision was a major change of tune; after all, she had a complicated past with the award-winning singer because of that infamous song.
Unfortunately, she didn't mention which song is her favorite.
