A recent New York Post article made its way to Iggy Azalea's timeline, which led the female rapper to finally address the age-old question about her alleged beef with recent MTV Video Vanguard Royalty Nicki Minaj.
The two had a long-standing indirect drama going on way back in 2010, in which many had strongly believed that the two rappers hated each other's guts.
With Azalea's recent tweet, the current status of their beef seemed to have been finally settled.
Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea Beef No More?
In a New York Post report detailing a history of Nicki Minaj's famous feuds before the 2022 MTV Video Music Awards last Sunday, Iggy Azalea's alleged feud with her fellow rapper was mentioned.
Per the article, Iggy was said to have tweeted something against Nicki Minaj in 2010 but only resurfaced in 2013. Afterwards, it mentioned Nicki's BET speech which many believed to have been a shade against Azalea, who was rumored to have ghostwriters.
"When you hear Nicki Minaj spit, Nicki Minaj wrote it. I hope and pray that BET continues to honor authenticity," Nicki said at the time.
As New York Post published the article on Twitter, Iggy got a hold of it and issued a response that cemented her current relationship with the rap royalty.
With the response, it seems like the two's "beef" then was not true, to begin with, after all.
Although it would be unlikely for any camp to confirm if the shots thrown before are directed to each other, the "Fancy" rapper's statements already speak volumes.

True enough, this was not the first time that Iggy showed Nicki her love recently.
As soon as Nicki Minaj's "Super Freaky Girl" hit online weeks ago, Iggy shared her thoughts on the megahit, which Nicki graciously thanks her for.
But not everyone seemed convinced of Iggy's praises for Nicki, saying that it was her efforts to secure a collaboration with Mrs. Petty. She, however, had a clap back to the detractor.
Earlier this year, Nicki Minaj swatted rumors that collaboration with anyone (even Azalea) is in the works. This was the time Coi Leroy's dad Benzino tipped off everyone with "Blick Blick," which was not supposed to be publicized yet.
Eventually, Nicki's feature on Coi Leray's song still happened, but fans are still convinced that an Iggy and Nicki collab might be somewhere near.
