DNCE gave a nostalgic rendition of Hilary Duff's mid-2000s song "Come Clean" on Monday, August 29.
Joe Jonas sang the nostalgic lyrics over his bandmates' acoustic accompaniment.
Originally released in January 2004 as the second single from Duff's 2003 album Metamorphosis, "Come Clean" peaked at No. 35 on the Billboard Hot 100, but reached the top ten on the Pop Airplay chart.
DNCE's cover was uploaded in TikTok.

The fan-favorite millennial hymn was also utilized as the theme for the blockbuster MTV reality show "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County," which launched the careers of Lauren Conrad, Kristin Cavallari, Stephen Colletti, and others.
In between releasing songs such as the Kygo-assisted "Dancing Feet," "Move," and "Got Me Good," DNCE have released TikTok renditions of Harry Styles' "As It Was" and JoJo's "Too Little Too Late" as well as Paramore's "The Only Exception" and Billy Joel's "Vienna."

Currently, Jonas is on tour with his brothers for the Mexico leg of the Jonas Brothers' "Remember This Tour" before returning to Las Vegas in the fall for additional nights of their residency.
Jonas created DNCE, a funky dance-rock band, with drummer Jack Lawless and guitarist JinJoo Lee in 2015, while the Jonas Brothers were temporarily disbanded.
Both musicians had previously toured with the Brothers. After being introduced to bassist Cole Whittle by pop artist Justin Tranter (the two had been in the glam-pop band Semi-Precious Weapons together), the quartet crafted a series of delightfully enjoyable pop songs such as "Kissing Strangers" and "Cake by the Ocean," which became a major smash.
In the years preceding the 2019 reunion of the Jonas Brothers, DNCE released an album and opened for Selena Gomez and Bruno Mars. Since roughly four years ago, the group has been on ice. Lawless and Lee have returned to complete the roster. Meanwhile, they continue without Whittle, who is currently focused on solo works.
Jonas recalls, "While I was in the Jonas Brothers again, I put a pause on all things DNCE, with the support of my fellow bandmates," Jonas explains. "So it became this thing where we all went and did our own thing and started to look at what else we wanted to do. Cole's been making really amazing music that's right up his alley, and I'm really supportive of him."
Jonas has been able to re-envision what DNCE could be: a "living, breathing," ever-evolving pop music rodeo, thanks to the small roster changes and the addition of numerous new co-writers who are already successful musicians.
He certainly has high hopes for it and he's not really wrong, given its present success.
"I can see it becoming something like the E Street Band, where members come and go," he said.
