It appears that except for that heated kiss she experienced with Charlie Puth at the 2015 American Music Awards, Meghan Trainor has few regrets. Was sharing a smooth with the "Left and Right" singer that bad?

On August 30, the singer participated in a TikTok fad in which participants compare two items they adore to one they dislike. The 28-year-old mother mentioned having a No. 1 record and winning a Grammy as two of her favorite things before stating that she is "not so fond" of her intimate makeout with Puth, 30.

"It was a wild 3 years #grammys #allaboutthatbass #amas," she captioned the video, which has already garnered 6 million views and counting.

The unforgettable event occurred when the duo concluded playing their hit song "Marvin Gaye" almost seven years ago.

If one can recall, Trainor put her arms around Puth's neck that time, as he gripped her rear end for a 15-second passionate kiss. Many thought that they were a couple after the passionate kiss, but the "Attention" singer later told Ellen DeGeneres that the kiss was merely "a visual aesthetic for what the song represents."

Back to the present though, Meghan Trainor has released an acoustic rendition of her latest hit, "Bad For Me," which features Teddy Swims. Swim's vocal shift boosts the song's emotion, as well as Trainor's passionate vocals and the vulnerable lyrics about leaving a destructive relationship.

The accompanying video shows the duo performing live in a recording studio alongside a pianist and guitarist. While paying tribute to the fanciful atmosphere of the original music video, the setting allows listeners to hear the song in a new, more personal context.

Trainor announced earlier this summer that her eagerly anticipated fourth studio album, "Takin' It Back," would be released by Epic Records on October 21.

This time around, she decided to revisit the characteristic sound she developed on her 2015 full-length debut, "Title," and bring it into the present. To create the album, she collaborated closely in her home studio with Gian Stone, Federico Vindver, Sean Douglas, and her younger brother, Justin Trainor.

Musically, she incorporates doo-wop and classic harmonies into one anthem after another, guiding the listener through her journey into marriage, motherhood, and attaining a new level of confidence.
