Lil Tjay found more courage and strength to start anew after the shooting incident - thanks to his fans.

Over two months since Lil Tjay made his fans worried because of his near-death robbery incident, the rapper gave them a gift for waiting and praying for him. He started paying back by releasing his song, "Beat the Odds."

He has been thanking everyone for being with him through ups and downs, but the public took action and applauded him instead for being an inspiration to everyone.

On the rapper's Twitter account, he shared a post from one of his fans who called him a "soldier" after the incident. The post featured a snippet of him rapping his new song.

"Lil Tjay is a true soldier. You can literally hear the pain in his voice," the fan page said.

Others also praised him for being strong and brave despite almost losing his life.

Lil Tjay's Life-and-Death Experience

Lil Tjay found the courage to inspire people with his song after almost losing his life in June.

At that time, the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office received 911 calls from people near Chipotle Restaurant in New Jersey. They disclosed that they heard shots fired in the area.

In a press release, the office confirmed that the rapper was one of the victims and that he was already rushed to Hackensack University Medical Center after sustaining seven gunshot wounds in his body.

He underwent multiple surgeries at the medical facility, and his recovery period had been a tough one due to the worries that he might not survive it at all.

Lil Tjay and his team never released any update about his status, causing media sites to report his alleged death and paralysis. For instance, news websites Sandra Rose and Ratchet Friday Media stirred confusion when they claimed unconfirmed reports about the rapper.

Fortunately, his uncle, Quinn Smith, took the worries away by saying that he was already pulling through and would be okay.

A few days later, a source revealed that he finally woke up and started speaking after the doctors removed his breathing tube.

Los Angeles Times has since reported that the enforcement officials in New Jersey arrested the 27-year-old Mohamed Konate, the suspect who shot Lil Tjay and his friend after a failed robber. He is facing attempted murder, armed robbery, and weapons charges, to name a few.
