Tory Lanez revealed in a recent question and answered on Twitter that he had been sending Drake and The Weeknd some of his tracks for years already.
However, to no avail, the two have not been responding to any of his requests. But despite the rejection, Lanez remained confident on social media, firing at a detractor who attempted to shame him for the revelation.
Aside from music, rapper Tory Lanez is packed and busy because of the piling lawsuits thrown at him, including the high-profile case against Megan Thee Stallion.
Tory Lanez Rejected by Drake, The Weeknd?
Asking his fans to comment on what they want to see on his upcoming new album, "Sorry 4 What," Tory Lanez heled a question and answer on his Twitter account last night.
In one of the questions, a fan asked if he has an upcoming collaboration with his fellow Canadians, Drake or The Weeknd.
Tory Lanez directly answered the question.
Per the "Daystar" rapper, he has been sending both musicians his music for months already. But to no avail, he has not scored a single one.
According to HiphopDX, Drake and Tory Lanez started on the wrong foot at the time. Still, their friendship eventually mended after the latter accompanied Drake on the "Assassination Vacation" Tour in 2019.
As for The Weeknd, the two have not yet interacted yet publicly.
In an attempt to shame Tory, a netizen fired back, telling Lanez that it was embarrassing for not scoring a collab from either of the two. Lanez had the perfect, confident response.
As of this writing, Drake nor The Weeknd has responded to Tory Lanez claim on why they have rejected or ignored the rapper's ask for a collaboration.
Earlier, Tory left affirming words for himself and his "umbrellas," what he calls his fans on Twitter.
"Here's the thing about being the underdog .......... As long as ur dope at what u do ..... u will eventually be on top ..... and nothing will stop me from being the GREATEST AND BIGGEST ARTIST IN THE WORLD ..... I put that on the umbrellas," he said in a tweet.
