YUNGBLUD is one of the most promising artists around the punk rock scene as he previously collaborated with some of the biggest stars like Machine Gun Kelly and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. Since his career skyrocketed, many people have criticized him for his music and style; now he's ready to address his haters.

In an interview with VICE, the outlet noted that the singer became a target of online trolls and haters for the way he expressed himself on stage.

He was also accused of being an "industry plant," a queerbaiter, and "appropriating the working class."

Despite the negative remarks he's been reading on different social media platforms, it never took away YUNGBLUD's authenticity as he remained true to himself.

Speaking about his persona, the rocker, whose real name is Dominic Richard Harrison, said no one can define him to one thing because he's all about "obliterating conformity and obliterating boxing yourself in."

YUNGBLUD Addresses Online Haters, Believes That Negative Remarks 'Killed' Young Artists Like Mac Miller

Elsewhere in the interview, the interviewer asked him whether his previous remarks and lyrics got online trolls hating him on the internet.

He agreed to the question and noted that the internet can be "so f****** cruel" to artists of his generation; he named some of the biggest young stars like Lil Nas X, Billie Eilish, and Mac Miller.

He believes that the world is so angry at everything and that negative remarks should be blamed for Miller's death.

The rapper was found unresponsive at his home in Los Angeles, California. His cause of death was determined to be an accidental overdose of a mixture of substances like fentanyl, cocaine, and alcohol. He was 26.

Addressing the online haters, YUNGBLUD said users should consider what other people are going through no matter how famous they are as it's hard to express their emotions.

"We have to be kinder to each other. We have to be kinder in the world," he added.

The rocker has had a busy year so far as he recently performed in Paris, Japan, and Australia in recent months. Today, he's back in the United Kingdom just in time for the release of his self-titled album.

His latest record, which has 12 songs including a collaboration with WILLOW, is currently available for purchase and streaming online.
