Happy Birthday Sir Mix-a-Lot! 3 Songs That Sample 'Baby Got Back': Nicki Minaj, Drake, And Eminem

Happy birthday, Sir Mix-a-Lot!

The man behind such hits as "Posse On Broadway," "Swass" and "Baby Got Back" turns 50 today.

We've hand selected five songs with samples from the track that put the Seattle rap pioneer on the map, his Billboard number one single, "Baby Got Back."

The big booty praising song went on to win a Grammy award and become the second-highest selling single of the year behind Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" in 1992.

So without further ado, check out our picks below.

1. "The Motto" by Drake and Lil Wayne

One of the most catchy parts of "Baby Got Back" is the song's intro. The young lady sounds totally turned off but yet so fascinated by the large imaginary derriere. Since the song was released pre-booty injection era, she probably secretly wanted one. Nonetheless, "Oh my God, Becky" became a popular line in music with Lil Wayne interpolating it into Drake's "The Motto."

"I tongue kiss her other tongue
Skeet skeet skeet: water gun
Oh my God, Becky, look at her butt! Tunechi"

2. "Anaconda" by Nicki Minaj

Nicki Minaj took the internet by storm when she released the cover art for her Pink Print single "Anaconda." The photo featured Minaj with her full rear exposed. All who saw the picture couldn't help but think, "Baby got back," clever move since the track features a sample from Mix-a-Lot's hit.

"My anaconda don't want none/Unless you've got buns, hon," Mix-a-Lot raps. This sample repeats throughout Minaj's single.

3. "Just Lose It" by Eminem

Eminem's 2004 Grammy-winning "Just Lose It" also features an interpolation from "Baby Got Back." Throughout the song, Em pokes fun at just about everything and everyone. In this particular line, he references his role as B-Rabbit in the 2002 film 8 Mile where he forgot his lines in his first rap battle.

"Tubba tubba tubba tubba tubba tubba tubba
I don't have any lines to go right here so, chubby
Tellytubby fellas (what) fellas (what)
Grab your left nut, make your right one jealous (what)"

Sir Mix-a-Lot raps in a similar fashion on his throwback.

"So, fellas! (Yeah!) Fellas! (Yeah!)
Has your girlfriend got the butt? (Hell yeah!)
Tell 'em to shake it! (Shake it!) Shake it! (Shake it!)
Shake that healthy butt!
Baby got back!"
