FN Meka is one of the controversial artists in the music industry today as he's been criticized for taking away the spotlight from real musicians and using racial slurs in some of his songs. Recently, the co-founder of his company shared a message to fans weeks after the virtual rapper got dropped from Capitol Records.

According to Complex, Factory New co-founder Anthony Marini said that if fans are mad about lyrical content because it was sung by artificial intelligence, people should be "mad about the lyrical content in general.

He was referring to the criticisms the virtual rapper has been facing over the past few weeks as it's still unclear who the team behind FN Meka was.

The rapper received negative comments from social media users because he used the "n-word" slur in some of his songs.

The recent news comes a few weeks after Capitol Records dropped FN Meka just two weeks after signing a deal with the famed record company.

One of the main reasons why they decided to cut ties with the musician was because of the public outcry about the racist overtones of his music.

In addition, he reportedly shared scenes of police brutality in his social media accounts.

The Capitol Music Group issued a public apology about the matter while reaching out to the Black community, saying they're "insensitive" in signing the project without further researching about the background and "creative process behind it."

The music giant also thanked those who called them out with "constructive feedback" because it helped them decide what to do next with FN Meka.

Industry Blackout, a nonprofit organization, is one of the first people who called out the record label, requesting them to remove the AI rapper from all of their platforms.

Rapper Behind FN Meka Speaks Out

Kyle The Hooligan, a rapper based in Atlanta, is the voice behind the controversial AI star and he previously claimed that Capitol Records stole from him.

Explaining the situation, he alleged that the company reached out to him to talk about topics revolving around artificial intelligence.

He claimed that he was offered to be the rapper's voice and he thought it was a collaborative project. However, CMG reportedly "ghosted" him and he never got paid anything.

Hooligan never attended any meeting regarding the project and now, he's glad that Capitol Records is canceled as he believes that it was "karma" after what they did to him.
