Selena Gomez has relatively kept to herself, making music, starring in a cooking show, and having the time of her life.

The "Lose You To Love Me" singer is ready to tell her story through a documentary entitled "Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me," which is set to be released by Apple TV+.

The 30-year-old makeup mogul took to Instagram to share the exciting news with Selenators, her fans.

The documentary will reportedly follow her journey battling Lupus, an autoimmune disease she has been diagnosed with since 2015, music-making process, among others.

The official synopsis noted: "After years in the limelight, Selena Gomez achieves unimaginable stardom. But just as she reaches a new peak, an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness. This uniquely raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light."

Her Journey

Gomez took to Instagram to share her sentiments and reflections on her twenties, as well as her continuous journey. "My twenties were a journey through good, hard, and beautiful moments that I will never forget," she wrote.

"Each of them has shaped me into the person that I am today. I am someone who is still learning, but is more certain about what matters and what she wants."

"Someone who is grateful for every single gift and every single lesson along the way." "I want to try my best to take the beautiful and the painful one day at a time and let it all make me into the very best me that I can be for myself/others/you," she continued.

The singer explained that turning 30 motivated her to take one step at a time, celebrate life, and be thankful for her life.

Upcoming, On-Going Projects

Gomez is one busy bee, while filming "Selena + Chef" and recording her next album, she adds the documentary to her list.

The announcement of the documentary comes a day after the release of "Calm Down," wherein Nigerian rapper Rema collaborated with Gomez.

In May, Gomez was a speaker at the Mental Health Youth Action Forum at the White House, where she opened up about her mental health.

"I felt like once I found out what was going on mentally, I found that there was more freedom for me to be okay with what I had because I was learning about it," she said.

"Mental health is very personal for me, and I hope that by using my platform to share my own story and working with incredible people like all of you."

Perhaps "Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me" will also highlight Gomez's journey and struggles with her mental health for the past six years.

For now, the release date for the documentary is yet to be announced. However, it was revealed that it is directed by Alek Keshishian, the same director of Madonna's documentary, "Madonna: Truth or Dare," released in 1991.
