Rock band Paramore is back after five years since their last release, "After Laughter" in 2017, as they soft launch their comeback by releasing a snippet via Discord.
The rock band released a schedule on their website. The website is completely void of graphics and only shows a list of dates with some cryptic words.
It says "9.1 - discord," and sure enough the band released a 10-second clip of Hayley Williams, the band's lead vocalist, singing in a recording booth.
The audio is muffled and the video itself seems to be filmed from far away, almost like it was filed in secret. According to iHeart, Williams was singing: "Far, I'm far / So far from the fault line / Quite the opposite / I'm safe inside." The next dates, Sept. 7, 9, and 12 are labeled "blank," wr0ng," and "LA," respectively.
Sept.16 and 28 are currently left blank, while Sept. 19 says "start spreading the news." Stereogum suggested that "blank" and "wr0ng" could possibly be song titles, but as of this writing, none of it is confirmed.
Fans React
Fans are ecstatic with the news that Paramore is finally making its return.
One fan tweeted, "I miss momma Hayley." And others have made memes about the rumored comeback.

A fan tweeted, "Paramore is finally coming back after four years I can't believe this is my life."
Some eagle-eyed fans also noticed that the three Paramore members, Williams, Zac farro, and Taylor York, all changed their Instagram profile pictures.
Another fan shared that the band's Instagram account archived all their previous posts.
Highly Anticipated
Paramore's highly anticipated album will succeed "After Laughter," and will be their sixth studio album.
They have been teasing fans of this comeback for quite some time now, reports say.
In an interview with Nylon, Williams revealed, "The music we were first excited by wasn't exactly the kind of music we went on to make."
She shared that the forthcoming album will be just like its predecessors, "all over the place."
" We're still in the thick of it but some things have remained consistent from the start. 1) More emphasis back on the guitar, and 2) Zac should go as Animal as he wants with drum takes," she continued.
In January, Williams cited Bloc Party as the "number one reference" for the album.
"They had their own thing and it was so unique and so dynamic, and it really stuck with us."
"And I'm really really thankful for this band, I'm so thankful that they're back, they're playing shows they're putting out great songs, and it just makes me feel even more excited to get back out into the world, and maybe cross paths with the band that has been a huge part of our story from day one," she continued.
As of this writing, there is still no word on when the album is set to be released, but fans are hoping it will come very soon.
