PnB Rock's fans urged everyone to delete every single copy of the murder video.
Following the Monday shooting incident that led to the death of PnB Rock - whose real name is Rakim Hasheem Allen - a video taken on the crime scene has since gone viral and reshared in different platforms.
The gory video sparked criticisms as fans said it is disrespecting the late rapper and his family. A copy of it on Reddit has also been deleted after violating the rule about posting videos that contain death.
"Man I hope his family don't see this. Nobody's mom deserves to see their baby squirming around in a pool of their own blood gasping for air," one said.
Some also argued that, instead of recording the scene, people at the restaurant should have had called the police or helped the rapper while waiting for responders.
His family is yet to comment on his death and release a statement regarding the incident. But the police are still working on case to identify the suspect's identity.
PnB Rock's Tragic Death
The Los Angeles Police Department has not released new update regarding the probe. But Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore said on Tuesday that the post shared by PnB Rock's girlfriend seemingly led the gunman to the rapper.
The since-deleted post showed a photo of a meal and the text "Roscoe's House of Chicken 'N Waffles," indicating PnB Rock and his girlfriend's location.
Cybersecurity experts shared their opinion about it, saying that oversharing and including location could pose dangers to people. Carnegie Mellon University's Information Security Office said that users should disable geotagging. It also suggested everyone to have the strictest privacy settings to ensure their safety and security.

PnB Rock also shared a video of him on Twitter, showing himself smoking and flashing his watch that appeared to be a Audemars Piguet Royal Oak, a favorite brand of young hiphop artists.
Aside from the video, there has also been theories suggesting that the rapper's death was planned by his girlfriend or his record label. As for the latter, it was explained by multiple users that labels take out insurance policies and named the companies as the beneficiary.
PnB Rock was the latest rapper to die, following Mo3, Drakeo The Ruler, King Von, Young Dolph, and XXXtentacion, among others.
