In 2018, Cardi B was reportedly arrested and charged with a misdemeanor, assault, and reckless endangerment for starting a brawl at a strip club in August of that same year.

Now, nearly four years later, the 29-year-old rapper faced the charges and accepted the plea deal. She pled guilty to assault in the third degree and reckless endangerment in the second degree, reports say.

Cardi B, born Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, was sentenced to 15 days of community service.

The initial indictment had 12 charges as well as two felonies against her. 10 of those charges were dismissed, Variety reported.

The Brawl

The incident occurred over four years ago and it involved the "WAP" rapper and her entourage. According to reports, she allegedly ordered an attack on her sisters Jade and Baddie Bi as well as two bartenders.

This was after she claimed that Jade was having an affair with her husband Offset. This information is not verified.

The fight at Angels Strip Club in Flushing, Queens escalated into an assault, and it was reported that furniture and bottles were thrown around, causing injuries to the victims.

'Accountability'

Cardi B acknowledged her role in the incident and said to USA Today, "Part of growing up and maturing is being accountable for your actions."

"As a mother, it's a practice that I am trying to instill in my children, but the example starts with me."

"I've made some bad decisions in my past that I am not afraid to face and own up to. These moments don't define me and they are not reflective of who I am now.

The rapper added that she is "looking forward" to moving past the situation and getting back to her music and fans.

Queens District Attorney, Melinda Katz said in a statement: "No one is above the law."

"n pleading guilty today, Ms. Belcalis Almanzar and two co-defendants have accepted responsibility for their actions. This Office is satisfied with the resolution, which includes appropriate community service."

Going In Style

In true Cardi B fashion, she updated fans on the court proceedings with pictures of herself, donning a white dress, hoop earrings, and flaming red hair, captioning the tweet with "Puuuurrrrrr."

Twitter users were appalled by the rapper, with one replying, "You're not serious." with some skull emojis. Another user replied, "You sent men to beat up some girls over a cheater & you think it's a serve?" "She wants her little Lindsay Lohan moment so bad as if violence against women is gonna be the next mood board moment lmfao, [sic]" a user quoted.

Although some fans thought otherwise. "'She just plead guilty.' Okay, but do you see the wig? the look? she ate down I must say, [sic]" replied a fan.

"Cardi B's courthouse looks are supreme. What an icon," replied another.
