Taylor Swift is most known for her easter eggs that she lays months or weeks before a huge release - whether it is a new album, new music video, or anything big in particular, the GRAMMY-winning hitmaker always scatters the breadcrumbs.

In effect, her loyal fanbase, the avid Swifties, has learned how to become eagle-eyed and canine-sniffing fans every time the singer posts something online.

Very recently, Taylor revealed that at the back of her four alternative cover albums, it would make a collectible clock - staying true to her new album's title "Midnights."

So far, she had dropped all these major news at - you guessed it - at midnight too.

In the past few days, Jack Antonoff, who had been instrumental in producing Swift's biggest tracks and album so far, has been confirmed to return to "Midnights."

With this pattern of events, Swifties have come to form a new theory.

Taylor Swift 'Midnights' Double Album?

According to TikTok user thethriftyswiftie, Taylor Nation, Taylor Swift, and even Jack Antonoff seemed to be punctuating every announcement with a similar emoji from the beginning and the end.

The first thing that thethriftyswiftie was the change from Taylor Nation's Twitter bio from its initial "Red (Taylor's Version)" bio. Before, she said, the emoji only was on the last, but not on the start. Now, things are different with the mantelpiece clock emoji as it was both present at the beginning and the end.

Similarly, Jack Antonoff's September 17 tweet does the same, with a period both at the start and end.

Taylor Swift's promotion of her TikTok video was also captioned with two mantelpiece clocks both at the start and the end.

Aside from this, the current hashtag that the Taylor Nation is using has shifted to #TSmidnighTS. TikTok user thethriftyswiftie pointed out that although the similarities are not very telling, she thinks that this could mean that "Midnights" would be Taylor Swift's double album.

A fan even supported the theory, noting that maybe the first song was a loop, like a clock, on the last song of the album.

"I definitely think it's a double release. I thought it might be with the "TS"s but now that they are using the clocks too," a fan also wrote on TikTok.

While some Swifties have officially fallen into the rabbit hole, they would still have to wait until midnight of October 20 to wait for the release of Taylor Swift's new album, "Midnights."
