It has been four years since Metro Boomin released "Not All Heroes Wear Capes," his critically acclaimed first solo LP, and he is now back to give fans another dose with "Heros & Villains."

The Grammy-noinated musician wanted fans to celebrate his 29th birthday with him, which is probably why he announced that "Heroes & Villains" is slated to be released via Republic Records.

The album teaser showed a match being lit and thrown into the darkness and falling to the ground. The spectacular graphics showed "Metro Boomin" in big bold font, with the word "album" below it.

The video also showed an ominous scene of a city burning with the words "Heroes & Villains" written in fire on the ground.

Fans React

Fans are undeniably ecstatic with the news of his upcoming album, slated to be released on Nov. 4. The YouTube video's comments were brimming with praises, noting that it could be a strong contender for an Album of the Year award.

"Metro doesn't just produce beats, he [creates] art," a fan wrote.

"I don't usually get excited when rappers/producers drop an album or music but when Metro Boomin drops something it makes my day," another wrote.

"Easily the most well-rounded producer of our generation," a fan praised the 29-year-old producer.

A fan noted on Boomin's year thus far, after dealing with the loss of his mother in June of this year. "The year Metro has had and he's still bringing us the sequel to 'Not All Heroes Wear Capes'."

'Not All Heroes Wear Capes" bagged several recognitions including a platinum certificate, ranking number 1 at the Billboard 200, and houses several platinum certifications for the tracks in the album.

The iconic album includes "No Complaints" featuring Drake and Offset, "Don't Come Out the House" with 21 savage, "Space Cadet" featuring Gunna, "Only 1" with Travis Scott, "10 Freaky Girls" with 21 Savage, Dreamcatcher with Swae Lee and Travis Scott, and more.

Tough Time

In August, Boomin opened up about his mother's passing in June. According to reports, she was killed by her husband before killing himself.

"My Mom was and still is my best friend in the universe and anybody who really know me know I've always been a Momma's boy my whole life," he wrote in an Instagram Story.

"This don't even feel like real life no more; it's like a nightmare that never ends, and starts over every time I wake up," he continued.

According to BET, Boomin's mother supported him during the beginning of his music career, driving him to Atlanta from their Missouri home.

Fans sympathized with the producer, and cheered him on for pushing to release his album despite going through tough times recently.
