Selena Gomez recently announced her forthcoming Apple TV+ documentary "Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me," and she has now confirmed the release date.
In a new post on Tuesday, September 20th, the celebrity released a trailer for the documentary, titled "My Mind & Me."
In the clip, she highlighted the fact that her life so far has not been easy, given all the moments that make it difficult to breathe. Still, as optimistic of a person she is, she also said that she would not alter my life.
This is when she dropped the release date of the documentary. It's literally around the corner as it will be released on November 4 via @appletvplus and @alekkeshishian.
The graphic depicts a rapid-fire montage of Gomez experiencing a range of emotions, from tears and worry to laughter and ecstasy, as the words "Every breath a breakthrough" flash across the screen.
The documentary, directed by Alek Keshishian (Madonna: Truth or Dare), will open the next AFI Festival on November 2, prior to its global release.
Based on the press release, the documentary will focus on how at a young age, Selena Gomez attains unfathomable fame. But just as she reaches a new height, though, an unforeseen turn pulls her into the shadows. The statement did not say what that turn is though, and naturally the assumption is that it has to do with her failed romance with Justin Bieber.
If not, it could be about her health, as she is dealing with the autoimmune disease - lupus. In fact, the clips will hint that certainly, this will be touched on.
The press release also highlighted that this candid and personal documentary traces the actress singer's six-year journey to a new light."
"Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me" is just one of the numerous television projects that the "Lose You to Love You" singer has been juggling this year.
She also featured opposite Steve Martin and Martin Short in the just concluded second season of Hulu's Only Murders in the Building, launched the fourth season of "Selena + Chef" on HBO Max, and is now developing a modern adaptation of the 1988 Melanie Griffith classic "Working Girl."
This month, Gomez also returned to music, collaborating with Rema on a seductive remix of his hit "Calm Down" and assisting the Nigerian musician in achieving his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100.
