It looks like 6ix9ine's legal problems are not stopping anytime soon as the rapper has finally reached a settlement on the high-profile Fashion Nova lawsuit that hit him in 2020.
The judgment on the 2020 lawsuit has finally come to an agreement that the rainbow rapper will be paying $350,000 on the incurred damages he did last 2018. 6ix9ine was reported to have ran over the fashion store money at the time.
According to the documents exclusively obtained by TMZ, it shows that Tekashi along with other companies who took the money has agreed to a settlement that will pay $350,000 in total.
6ix9ine has pledged to pay $39,000 of the total fine. However, if the other entertainment and booking companies failed to pay their part of the share, the rapper will be shouldering the remaining $311,000 too.
Speaking to the media outlet recently, the "Trollz" hitmaker chuckled, saying that the situation is "hilarious," unsure of what the ruling would bring his fortune.
In 2020, Tekashi took a cash advance of $225,000 for brand promotion from Fashion Nova just to promote the brand on his social media accounts and his music. Weeks later, he was subsequently jailed for not fulfilling his end of the contract.
Despite claiming that he returned the money, the rapper has yet to provide any evidence that he did so.
Tekashi 6ix9ine Going Broke Already?
Earlier this year, Tekashi 6ix9ine's net worth has been put in question after repeatedly flaunting his wealth on social media while pleading to the judge that his fortune is going down the drain.
In a HiphopDX report, he told a judge ruling over his 2018 robbery case that his music career has not been the same since his prison stint.
He also pointed out that further damages to his career could eventually bankrupt him in a way that he would not recover and seal his family at a permanent disadvantage.
Per Wealthy Gorilla, 6ix9ine has a net worth of around $8 million. He owns 2 luxury cars - a $300,000 Rolls-Royce Ghost and a $2 million Mercedes McLaren P1.
He also faced a $2 million lawsuit last April after breaching his contract with Streamusic. Like his previous allegations, 6ix9ine was paid an advance of $150,000 but eventually fled with the money, ditching his two slated concert performances.
