Britney Spears appeared enraged as she blasted her family and former management team in a series of messages to her 42 million Instagram followers on Sunday. It's another rant-filled post about her conservatorship, but after her ordeal of nearly 14 years, this should not be surprising. One thing about her new posts however is that she dragged Jennifer Lopez into it.

The 40-year-old Grammy-winning singer detailed how she feels she has been handled by her camp over the past 14 years, claiming that her security was able to see her naked while she changed clothes and showered in her own house.

She then compared herself to Jennifer Lopez and said the legendary singer and actress' family would surely have protected her.

The "Toxic" singer stated that the "Hustlers" star would "never" be abused in the same manner as she has. Britney was placed under conservatorship on 1 February 2008 by her father, Jamie Spears, and her attorney, Andrew M Wallet, due to her erratic behavior. The conservatorship lasted over 14 years, until it was dismissed by a judge in November 2021. By using Jennifer Lopez as an example in the Instagram post, the singer wanted to convey that other musicians would not be treated as she has been.

She penned how she wants to see someone instruct Jennifer Lopez to sit for eight hours a day, seven days a week. She's sure that JLo's fam would not let it happen.

About a comeback though, she has reiterated that it might not happen.

"After 14 years of telling me no to what I wanted ... it's ruined for me ... but that wasn't the worst part ... the worst part was my family locking me up in that place for four months," she added.

The Toxic musician stated that she was even "suddenly" removed from the medication she was usually taking and "drugged... on lithium."

She admitted she would now rather sit at home than be back full force on the entertainment world.

Spears included a footage of her doing laundry while singing the words to her 1998 breakthrough single...Baby One More Time, stating that she routinely performs remixes of her iconic hits to provide the audience with a new experience every time.

"The first three tours I ever did EACH song was a remix so the sound was new for my fans ... it was what I was known for ... for 13 years I wanted remixes to my songs during the conservatorship ... to make the songs feel new," she said.

Even while it appears that Spears has no plans for a comeback, she just recorded "Hold Me Closer" with Elton John. In August, the pair released the single.

David Furnish, John's husband, described what it was like for the lately White House-performing singer to record with Spears and have nothing but nice to things to say. He added that the collaboration was more of what Spears wanted.

They strived to give her what she wanted and how she liked the song to turn out. Furnish stated that despite Spears' assertion that she will not return, John "hopes" that recording "Hold Me Closer" will result in the pop singer releasing more music.
