Olivia Newton John's husband, John Easterling, posted a picture of Newton-John and himself from the first birthday they celebrated together to commemorate the late singer who would have celebrated her 74th birthday.
"I remember the first birthday when we were together and I took Olivia on a week-long adventure in the Out islands of the Bahamas, surrounded by beautiful, peaceful, [and] spectacular turquoise water," he wrote.
He reminisced about their vacation together, describing the scenes they saw and the things they did together. "[...[ It was private, it was wonderful, and we would take the boat to uninhabited islands and beach it and just explore - just the two of us."
He recalled an instance wherein they were caught in the middle of a storm as they rode their boat back from Great Guana Cay. He described the dark clouds that rolled in and the strong waves.
"But as quickly as the storm started, the winds died down, the rain stopped, the sun poke through and the seas turned back to that beautiful turquoise," he continued.
"[...] The rainbow started on the left and crystallized all the at over-horizon to horizon-and that's when the dolphins started jumping at the bow of the boat, leading us under the rainbow."
"Every day with Olivia there was a hint of magic and [an] everyday day with Olivia was a bit of the supernatural. Happy Birthday, Honey - I love you!" He wrote.

She died after a long battle against breast cancer, reports say. She was first diagnosed with the illness in 1992. She was an advocate for the early detection of breast cancer and launched the Olivia Newton-John Cancer Wellness and Research Center in Melbourne, Australia.
