It's been four years since A$AP Rocky released his last album "Testing" and many fans are eager to hear new music from him. Good news because it appears that supporters don't have to wait that much longer for a new record, but the rapper had to clarify one thing.
The "Praise the Lord" hitmaker recently performed at the Rolling Loud Festival which was attended by thousands of fans. He also announced that it was his last concert until a new album was released, hinting that new music might drop anytime soon.
Over the past few months, many fans have speculated that the title of the album would be "All Smiles" but he previously clarified that it's not true.
Speaking to Dazed digital magazine, the rapper said, "You know, I never publicly said that my album was called All Smiles!"
He further explained that the rumored title is more of a "concept project" than an album, but he teased fans by saying the new record was "wrapping up" at the time.
However, Uproxx suggested that there could be two possible projects dropping soon, but the rapper has yet to confirm this information.
A$AP Rocky's Upcoming Album Title Speculated by Fans
After his Rolling Loud set, which was abruptly cut off, fans have been speculating on social media that the title of his new album would be "Grim."
Online users have been sharing memes and tweets about the title, but where did they get it from?
Per the outlet, fans based it from a custom belt buckle that he wore during his recent performance. The accessory was studded in different-colored diamonds with a figure of what appears to be the grim reaper.
As of this writing, A$AP Rocky has not revealed the official title of his upcoming album.
A$AP Rocky Apologizes for Rolling Loud Set
Last weekend, the rapper took the New York City stage to perform in front of thousands of fans, but he later apologized for what happened as he was only able to perform nine songs.
Taking to his official Twitter account, A$AP Rocky said he was "so hurt" because his Rolling Loud set was supposed to be a "turning point" in his live performances from old to new.
Despite preparing for the show for months, he wasn't able to bring his "vision to fruition" and he wanted to apologize to those who attended.
