Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs' Cancer Journey

In April, Arthurs shocked fans upon announcing that he would be taking a break from music for a while as he was diagnosed with tonsil cancer.

He shared a ray of hope to fans, saying his health condition is treatable and he will undergo a course of treatment at the time.

A few months later, he gave fans an update about his treatment, saying he already finished his treatment including 30 radiotherapy sessions and two chemotherapies.

At the time, Arthurs said he felt pain, but he's going to be better as he's in recovery.

The 57-year-old musician witnessed Oasis' growth in the industry as he was one of the band's founding members. However, he decided to quit in 1999.

He founded his own band called Moondog One with Mike Joyce and Andy Rourke of The Smiths. In addition to his newly-found gig, he also played with Sek Loso and other solo projects like being a DJ in clubs.

Arthurs later teamed up with his former Oasis bandmate Liam Gallagher to release a song as part of the singer's first solo album. In recent months before he was diagnosed, he was playing for the vocalist's touring band.
