It's about damn time Lizzo filed a trademark on her very own flute, Sasha!
Aside from her sexy and voluptuous body, banger vocals, and witty comebacks, Lizzo is also known to be a damn good flutist. This is why she has already filed trademark applications for her very own flute, "Sasha Flute."
Trademark attorney Michael E. Kondoudis told everyone on Twitter the specifics of Lizzo's big move to trademark her signature flute.
The "Truth Hurts" hitmaker has applied trademark for NFTs and NFT-backed media; children's books and toys; NFT marketplaces for virtual goods, tv & film productions, entertainment services, clothing and virtual clothing, d also online virtual environments, including retail stores for virtual goods.
Per Billboard, the US Patent and Trademark Office received all seven of Lizzo's flute trademark applications. Attorney Peter Nussbaum filed the applications on behalf of the popstar last week.
Interestingly, Lizzo's Sasha Flute has her own Instagram account, reaping over 326,000 followers. Based on the photos of her profile, Sasha Flute has appeared and has been used by her owner, Lizzo, on many occasions already, including her performances.
Lizzo does not hide her greatness in playing the flute. In every chance where he could show her talent to the public and prove that she was a classically trained flutist, she would, accentuating her innate musical abilities.
Speaking about performing with a flute, Lizzo recently made history after she used Founding Father James Madison's 200-year-old crystal flute to play for a packed audience during her "Special Tour" in Washington DC, last September 27.
Days before the concert, the Library of Congress teased the female rapper on their collection of flutes, including James Madison's crystal flute from 1813.
To her surprise, the Library of Congress actually granted Lizzo's request to play the instrument, which was historic, as she was the first person who had played the instrument since it was kept in storage.
Eventually, Complex reported that Lizzo is being invited to Former President Madison's estate in Montpelier for a tour and performance should she decide actually to pay a visit.
