Loretta Lynn died at the age of 91 early this month, but there's no stopping her from singing.
According to Radar Online, the country singer will release new songs following her death on October 4. She is said to have left behind a large collection of successful tunes and a compilation worth more than five LPs.
This is predicted to keep her music at the top of the charts for years to come.
The site further reported that the tunes she left behind are worth at least $20 million.
The renowned singer-songwriter will be performing from beyond the grave to financially support her family. Lynn secured a record deal with Sony Records Imprint Legacy Recordings in 2014.
During that period, the "Coal Miner's Daughter" singer also went to Hendersonville's Cash Cabin Studio to record songs with her daughter, Patsy Lynn Russell, and Johnny Cash's son, John Carter Cash, as producers.
Their sessions produced over 90 songs, but only 52 songs and four albums have been released to far.
Many tracks from that time period are likely to be unreleased.
According to an individual who talked with the source, there was a chance that up to 300 tracks were left behind, which could assist release over a dozen albums.
The idea of recording songs to release after her death for monetary support may have been inspired by Johnny Cash, according to an insider, and Lynn saw Cash record hundreds of songs before his death in 2003, and that album that was released after his death sold better than the ones he released while still alive.
A family friend also shared a few words on Loretta Lynn's gesture of generosity, stating she "left behind a gold mine."
"She was always concerned about the welfare of her family after she was gone, but they will be properly taken care of due of her hard work in her final days," a friend said.
"Loretta worked very hard to stockpile songs that would only see the light of day after she went," they continued. "It was her way of providing for her family when she couldn't be there, as well as keeping her music alive in the hearts of her devoted fans."
Loretta Lynn was concerned about her family when she was forced to quit performing in 2017 due to a stroke, but she didn't stop composing music.
