Lil Baby is one of the biggest names in rap currently. With his promise and huge fan base, he has been closely associated with other rap acts, which many alleged he had been beefing with.
Among those names is the Atlanta trio Migos, composed of Quavo, Takeoff, and Offset. Because of Lil Baby's press tour for his new album, "It's Only Me," he finally has the chance to address the issue once and for all.
Speaking to the "Posted on the Corner recently," Lil Baby finally opened up and spoke his truth about the alleged beef.
Asked if there were "underlying issues" between him and the Atlanta trio, Lil Baby has two words - "Hell nah!"
"I don't even want to comment on that type of stuff. I feel like when I comment on something, it makes it bigger," he furthered.
According to HipHopDX, it was in 2020 when reports about Lil Baby and Migos beefing circulated on the rap scene. It was about an alleged altercation between one of Lil Baby's 4PF crew and Offset. DJ Akademiks said in a live stream that Lil Baby was on top of the "pecking order" at Quality Control Music, where both Lil Baby and Migos were signed to.
"First of all, I really don't see shit on the internet. People send me shit and I be wanting to comment, but then I feel like that's just gonna make it even more... But they know I ain't got nothing going on with them," Lil Baby commented.
But despite the clarification that Lil Baby has offered, his music tends to speak the other way around.
On one of his new songs on the latest album, Lil Baby referenced a previous jab on "Stand On I" that Quavo had on him years back.
I don't want yo bitch/ we can't swap out / They ain't on shit, tell 'em to pop out," he sang.
It was a rather indirect hit on Quavo's Instagram story that says, "Ain't trippin we can swap it out! #QCTheLabel," which he posted shortly after photos of Quavo's ex-girlfriend Saweetie was snapped sitting on Lil Baby's lap.
Meanwhile, Lil Baby is in high spirits following the Hits Daily Double prediction that the album, "It's Only Me," would debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with around 185-210,000 album equivalent units.
