Aerosmith has reportedly been forced to cancel a number of dates on their current Let Rock Rule tour due to drummer Joey Kramer suffering from "heart complications" – according to TMZ.
The band was due to perform at the Concord Pavilion in Concord, CA. Their Facebook page currently reads, "The band regrets not being able to perform for their fans." They also posted the news on their website.
While details of Kramer's heart issue are currently unknown, the gossip site notes that a source close to the band claims that the drummer will have to undergo heart surgery, but there has been no confirmation of that as of yet.
Along with having to cancel their Concord show, the band reportedly had to cancel their performance later this week at George, Washington.
There's been an outpouring of support online from fans via Twitter regarding the 64-year-old's illness, with fans taking to Twitter to share their thoughts:
One fan notes, "@Aerosmith I've heard rumors that have scared me... Please tell us why," while another stated, "So sorry for cancellation :( I and my husband were going to the show... just hope our boys are okay," alongside an image of praying hands.
While it's obvious fans are bummed about the show cancellations, it seems apparent that what they really want is a speedy recovery for Joey Kramer.
