Nicki Minaj's baby boy has her heartbeat racing. As shown in her "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II" advertisement, the "Super Bass" rapper is known for her daring; nevertheless, she has admittedly experienced "greater worry" after becoming a mother.
Having given birth to her kid with Kenneth Petty during the height of the 2020 lockdowns, Nicki revealed that it feels like her heart is being ripped out everytime she has now travel for work.
In an exclusive interview, she told E! News' Justin Sylvester that she's incredibly devoted to her baby.
She recalled being in the United Kingdom and simply sobbing. And when she attempt to FaceTime her child, she could even feel her sadness increasing. Therefore, she tried to avoid FaceTiming him because it is so tough to afterwards put down the phone.
Moreover, because Minaj likes to do everything herself, the 2-year-old, lovingly nicknamed Papa Bear, has "never had a nanny."
This has understandably caused the singer to have "fear and anxiety" regarding the balance between her parental responsibilities and her thriving profession.

Not that she's thinking of stopping.
In fact, it looks like she's going to step down on the gas pedal soon to further hasten the time she can drop a new album.

Since the release of Queen in 2018, which reached at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, she has not released a studio album.
In 2019, she attempted to announce her retirement, which was met with harsh and sad reactions. Nicki Minaj has stated her intention to leave the music industry in order to focus on her family.
The 36-year-old rapper from Trinidad, who grew up in New York and is known for her eccentric attire, weird alter egos, and quick flow, tweeted the news. She tweeted that she has decided to retire and start a family. Shortly after fans poured their disappointment and sadness, she clarified that she's not retiring. She cannot stay away from her music, she said.
