A day before "Midnights" drops, Taylor Swift's newest collaborator and beloved singer, Lana Del Rey, took to social media to announce a piece of rather unfortunate news to her fans.
While everyone is expected to hear Del Rey sing a Taylor Swift song tomorrow, October 21, on "Snow On The Beach," her fans might have to wait a little longer to hear the songstress' new music.
In an Instagram Live, Lana Del Rey revealed that her laptop, among many other pieces of equipment, was stolen after her car was broken in recently. The contents of the car - the music for her new album!
But aside from the new music that was stolen from the laptop, camcorders, and hard drive, a 200-page manuscript of a book she has been working on for Simon & Schuster.
"Please don't listen to the music if you hear it because it's not coming out yet. And in terms of the book, I loved the book that I lost with all of my heart and put a lot of passion into it. And in terms of the camcorders, we shall see what happens with that," Del Rey opened up.

Unfortunately, the "Norman F*cking Rockwell" hitmaker revealed that she was not able to save a backup copy of the manuscript, so she had to start over again. (via Billboard)
As for the music, the 37-year-old singer erased the contents of her laptop remotely. However, she also shared that she has been noticing that some of the songs were being released online. Hence, the appeal for fans to not listen to it yet until the actual release.
Swifties have recently come together and buried the leaks of Taylor Swift's "Midnights" earlier this week. Although the source was unidentified, many have managed to hide the leaks on social media by releasing clickbait videos and memes to overload the old ones with newer tweets.
Lana Del Rey appears as a featured artist on Taylor Swift's newest song, "Snow on the Beach," a part of the "Midnights." album.
Although it has not been identified yet if the song will get a music video, Swifties are manifesting that the track would be the second song from the new album to get a music video.
"Midnights" drop on selected music streaming platforms at midnight of October 21, 2022.
