Last year, Tank shocked fans as he announced his retirement after suffering from a medical condition. More recently, it appears that he's rethinking his decision after attending a star-studded party; what made him change his mind?

According to TMZ, the R&B star was spotted hanging out with numerous celebrities at Babyface's album release party.

Speaking to the outlet during a surprise interview, the singer was amazed by how many stars attended the event, like Kim Kardashian, Jordin Sparks, Chris Tucker, and many more. He said he found inspiration just by going to the party.

"If you look at the room, the support is amazing, it tells you who he was and who he is," he said.

The interviewer noted that a legend like Babyface is still working today and it inspired tank as he said, "If he's still going, I have no excue [to create music]."

Tank's Retirement

The recent interview and sighting come almost a year after he confirmed his retirement after going deaf in one ear.

Speaking to "The Real," Tank gave fans an update about his medical condition, saying he's deaf in his right ear, but he could fully hear in the other one.

It all began when he was working on a movie. He brushed it off at first as he thought his ear was "clogged up" but it worsened over the next few days, saying he felt something he couldn't handle. (via Yahoo! News)

Doctors prescribed him prednisone, an oral steroid, and he noted that the medication is a very damaging steroid and it had side effects on him.

The outlet noted that the medicine could help people who lost their hearing, but it has different severe side effects like mood changes, sore throats, and many more.

His latest album, released earlier this year, would be his last, according to him at the time, as he wanted to retire from the music industry.

However, he clarified that he was leaving his career not because of his hearing problems, but because he wanted to do something else in life.

Tank first shared the news of his medical condition to his fans in a now-deleted video, saying his right ear was losing sound and he had been experiencing dizziness so he couldn't walk straight. (via Atlanta Black Star)
