During 21 Savage's set at the Morehouse Spelman homecoming concert, Drake thrilled fans by joining the rapper onstage.
According to reports, they performed "Nonstop" and "Jimmy Cooks." Drake's performance at the Forbes Arena in Atlanta was a bit special as he noted that it was his first time coming back to perform at the state since 2018.
But was it all just a coincidence or are the two scheming a soft launch on their next joint project? The surprise performance sparked rumors about the two reuniting for a joint album.
Among the people who were adding fuel to the fire was producer DDot who was more than forthcoming with sharing his thoughts about the possibility of the two collaborating again.
"Drake and 21 Savage tape finna be brazy, [sic]" the producer wrote on Twitter.
Although his tweet did not really shed much light, a lot speculated that he knew more than he let on.

Collab, Soon?
Not only are fans hyped that the two artists came together to perform at the homecoming concert, but they were also hyped just simply by seeing the Canadian musician onstage again. "I haven't seen him since then either... when is the next tour?" A fan wrote.
Several fans noted that the last time they saw Drake was during his Atlanta stop in 2018, which was over four years ago.
"A whole 4 years is absolutely ridiculous!" Another fan commented.
The possibility of a joint album was met with mostly positive responses. Fans noted that the two had good chemistry, and produced bop after bop.
"Jimmy Cooks by Drake is the only good song on 'Honestly, Nevermind.' Every time Drake and 21 team up it's always a hit. I think if Drake wants to get back to making good music, he needs to do a collab album with 21. He brings out the best in Drake, the rapping, aggressive side. [sic]" wrote a fan on Twitter.
"Judging by 'Jimmy Cooks,' it seems like it's gonna be fire," another wrote.
However, some fans were less than enthusiastic at the idea of a joint album or even another collaborative song, as some noted that 21 Savage was the one doing the heavy lifting for the both of them.
According to reports, the two often collaborated. 21 Savage featured Drake in "Mr. Right Now," a song off his album "Savage Mode II." Drake's "Knife Talk" was done with 21 Savage and Project Pat, and Drake's hit song "Jimmy Cooks" also featured 21 Savage.
As of this writing, the collaboration is yet to be confirmed, however, it does not stop fans from being hopeful that it will come in the near future.
