Zuri Craig, who made it to the "America's Got Talent" finals in 2015, has died. He was 44.
Craig's family confirmed the crooner's passing in a post on Instagram. The bereaved loved ones shared a poster where they shared their heartbreaks with everyone.
"It is with profound sadness that we announce the transition of our beloved son, brother, and friend, Zuri Craig. We thank you in advance for your prayers. Please honor our privacy at this unimaginable time of mourning," the family said.
The "America's Got Talent" star reportedly died on Friday.
It did not disclose Zuri Craig's cause of death, but the statement told the followers they would release more details soon.
Fans immediately sent their message of condolences to the family and honored Craig's legacy in the industry.

Craig started his journey in the industry when he joined "America's Got Talent" in 2015. He and his music partner, Jeffrey Lewis, made their debut as the singing duo, Craig Lewis Band.
During their stint, they wowed the judges with their renditions of "I'm Goin' Down" by Mary J. Blige and "This is a Man's World" by James Brown. Despite that, they scored fifth place while ventriloquist Paul Zerdin won the competition.

Before his "AGT" appearance, he notably became part of several projects, including "Madea Gets a Job," "A Madea Christmas," and "Madea's Big Happy Family."
Before his death, he worked on the web series "Black Hollywood Atlanta." He also marked his last acting gig in OurSomewhere Digital Productions' podcast, "The Color Purple Audio Experience: A Benefit for Black Womxn," which will premiere on November 26.
Craig also worked on podcasts and theatrical productions in the past years. He was scheduled to produce the stage play, "Soul Food" in Atlanta.
He and Jeffrey were also tapped to perform at The King's Fest on October 30. The event will be held at the MCHS Gymnasium in Camilla.
