It has been announced that Wayne Brady will be hosting the 2022 American Music Awards.

This year's American Music Awards were already set to be a star studded event. From Bad Bunny to Taylor Swift to Beyonce to Drake, this year's festivities were undoubtably going to be a thrilling tribute to the incredible music that has come out this year. Now, they have gotten even better.

Wayne Brady is well known to be an incredibly versatile star. When it comes to multi-hyphenate talents, it is hard to keep up with him. He has made a name for himself as an actor, TV personality, comedian, and singer. This year, he will be bringing the musical aspect of his multifaceted career to the forefront as he prepares to host the 2022 American Music Awards.

This exciting news was announced earlier today, October 24th. The star has spoken out about his overall excitement to take on such a thrilling task and the honor that he feels that he was chosen. Brady reflected in a press statement:

"I'm ecstatic and honored to host this year's AMAs. As a musician and music lover, it's amazing to be part of a night where music fans make their voices heard!...It's a big show, so I'm bringing it all... The funny, the music and the moves!"

This year's American Music Awards will be held in Los Angeles at the Microsoft Theater. They will be aired on November 20th at 8PM ET. We can't wait to see what exciting reveals this year's awards show has.
