Harry Styles made a crucial statement during his "Love on Tour" performance in Los Angeles on October 24.
Normally, the "As It Was" hitmaker wears Adidas x Gucci Gazelle sneakers for most of his shows, but he opted to change things up this time to send a strong statement to the company.
Instead, for her Los Angeles gig at the Kia Forum, the Grammy-winning singer donned red Vans sneakers.
"Harry Styles wears adidas every concert of tour till they hesitate to drop Kanye and he promptly breaks out vans," one observant fan said on Twitter, mentioning Harry and his stylist Harry Lambert. "I see u."
Others praised the "Watermelon Sugar" singer for speaking out against a corporation that appeared to be supporting an angry rapper who previously declared he was going to go "death con 3 on the Jews."
"We see your choice, and it means so lot to me and all your other Jewish followers, as well as those who stand with us in the face of antisemitism in all its manifestations."
The 28-year-old singer-songwriter wore his new sneakers with tan leather pants and an ice cream cone-printed shirt.
Harry Styles' wardrobe decision occurred before Adidas severed relations with controversial rapper Kanye West following his anti-Semitic social media statements.
Despite his prior claims, the "Donda" rapper believed that the famed shoe company would never remove him; nevertheless, Adidas proved him wrong when they announced their decision on Oct. 25.
In a statement, Adidas said, "Ye's recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous and they violate the company's values of diversity, inclusion, mutual respect and fairness."
Aside from Adidas, he has already been dropped by Balenciaga, Def Jam, and his own label, G.O.O.D. Music, Gap, and MRC. Aside from this, Kanye has been dumped by all of his lawyers.
Adidas' decision to break relations with Kim Kardashian's ex-husband, with whom they had collaborated since 2013, reduced Kanye's net worth from $1.5 billion to $400 million.
Kanye was banned from social media networks such as Instagram and Twitter following his other unsettling statements, prompting him to blame the "Jewish media" for purportedly silencing him.
Despite the uproar for his words, the "All of the Lights" rapper believes he will not be fired for his worrisome conduct, which began when he donned a "White Lives Matter" shirt during Paris Fashion Week.
He told TMZ last time that he wasn't even losing money and the day Balenciaga cut ties with him was "one of the most freeing days. We here, baby, we ain't going nowhere."
