Lil Wayne 'Tha Carter V' Album Cover Revealed: New Artwork Features Mother Jacida [PHOTO]

Lil Wayne: Krazy

Keeping with the theme of childhood artwork covers for his Tha Carter series, Weezy's new artwork features a photo of himself as a toddler with his mother Jacida "Cita" Carter. The two look casual in the shot, with baby Dwayne Michael Carter rocking a red and white striped T-shirt, hand in his mouth. Meanwhile, Mama Carter looks straight at the camera, rocking a white T-shirt and blue shorts.

The old school photo is superimposed on a black background with red circles, with "Lil Wayne Tha Carter V" written in red and white on the left.

In his interview on SportsCenter, Wayne revealed that he didn't quite tell his mother what photo he would be using on the cover... and he's sorry.

Tha Carter V is Lil Wayne's upcoming 11th studio album and the final installation in his long going Tha Carter series. The album will be released on Oct. 28 and is set to feature fellow big name rappers such as Nicki Minaj, Drake and more.

Thus far, Tha Carter V is being led by singles "Believe Me" and "Krazy."
