Manager Brian Rainwater is putting to rest claims that Texas musician MO3 was killed in 2020 as a result of yet another rap battle.
It has been suggested by Rainwater that the man who murdered MO3 did it out of jealousy for the rapper's relationship with the man's own children.
The mother was dating MO3, and her children had uploaded pictures of the dead rapper online with pride.
He further claims that MO3's expensive lifestyle enhancements and vacations drove the killer over the brink.
After the incident, Rainwater was a guest on "Say Cheese!" where he slammed the deluge of social media influencers who spread false information and laughed at the slew of local rap songs in which the artists denied any involvement.
According to Rainwater, the assailant chose MO3 because of his fame, implying that the "Shottaz" rapper did not put much stock in his relationship with the woman who killed him. He drew parallels between MO3's murder and the shooting death of Atlanta rapper Trouble, who was visiting the woman he was seeing at the time of his death.
According to a report first published by TMZ on November 11, 2020, MO3 was killed on the streets of Dallas during a high-speed automobile chase. He got out of his car and tried to run, but he was shot dead before he got very far.

Back in May, a man who was suspected of killing Dallas rapper MO3 pleaded guilty to a felony charge of having a gun while being a convicted criminal. Federal court records show that Kewon Dontrell White, who is 23 years old, said he was guilty on Thursday. Lancaster police filed the charge after finding a 9 mm pistol in White's pocket on August 16, 2020.
When they tried to pull White over for traffic violations, he ran away on a dirt bike and then on foot. White and Devin Maurice Brown were charged with murder last year for the death of 28-year-old Melvin Noble, who went by the stage name MO3. An arrest warrant affidavit says that White was arrested about three weeks after the murder after witnesses named him as the shooter. The office of the U.S. attorney has said that Brown was "known to be associated" with White.
