Kanye West is been receiving a lot of backlash for his hate-filled statements.
Several major corporations have now severed connections with the former millionaire due to his anti-Semitic comments. His inflammatory words have harmed not just his attempts with businesses with which he previously worked, but also his fans.
In fact, a former Kanye West fan from South Florida allegedly set fire to his pricey pairs of Yeezy sneakers.
Danny Shiff allegedly ruined a pair of shoes worth $15,000.
Speaking to 7 News Miami, he said, "I'm very much actually for free speech, and everyone is entitled to their opinion, but what got me going on this one is someone like Kanye West, people like him cannot use the massive platform to spread this kind of hate."
He added, after tossing his once-loved new pair of sneakers into the fire, "So I thought, 'There's not much I can do.' I bought 40 pairs of Yeezys, so I'm going to burn them all."
In a viral video released by the fan, he can be seen burning multiple Yeezy sneakers on fire, declaring that he will never wear or support Kanye's shoes.
Danny stated that all he did was make a statement.
Unfortunately for Danny, he is vilified for wasting thousands of dollars.
"Bro, I could have warned you before you spent all that money on any Kanye product other than his music," one Twitter user stated. It's a waste... You're just wasting money."
"Why not give them to the poor?" a second individual inquired.

Danny still possesses shoes worth $25,000, according to News12 Bronx. Despite this, he reportedly auctioned off the sneakers, with the earnings going to a foundation that fights bigotry and anti-Semitism.
He made his decision just days after one of Kanye's major sponsors, Adidas, terminated their relationship with him.
The shoe giant declared earlier this week that they were parting ways with the "All Of The Lights" rapper because they don't want to encourage hate speech and instead stand for "diversity, inclusivity, mutual respect, and justice."
They said, "Adidas does not tolerate anti-semitism and any other sort of hate speech. Ye's recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful, and dangerous, and they violate the company's values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness."
In addition to their statement, they stated that they will stop creating Yeezy-branded things and would cease all payments to Kanye and his firms.
