Prior to debuting his Joker costume on the streets of Los Angeles, Diddy shared a video of himself doing the famous-and terrifying-signature Joker laugh.
He captioned the video, "Hello my friends, I'm the Joker. I'm highjacking Halloween! Hahahaha," with a joker and jack-o-lantern emoji.
Fans and celebs should have known that the tweet was not a trick, because they were in for a treat. Diddy was going all out with his Joker, as he held a fake machine gun in one hand and a fake grenade in another.
In previous years, he dressed up as Pennywise from Stephen King's horror novel "It," reports say. Fans all agreed that the delivery of his take on the fictional character was also immaculate. His performance of Joker was so convincing that he almost got into an altercation with "Power" actor Michael Ferguson. Clowning Around?
According to reports, the rapper came across Ferguson, who clearly did not recognize him. Diddy did not let his character slip and taunted the actor, until they came face-to-face. A video of their heated exchange is now circulating through social media. It shows Diddy cackling and staggering toward the actor, "What's up, baby? You don't like me?" "Then muthaf**king get to it, ni**a. If you don't like me, you muthaf**king fronting. Get to it, bi**h. Don't f**king play with me on Halloween. I'm out here with love, n***a," Diddy said. "Come on here and I'll bust yo sh*t! You f**king p***y, make sure you won't never talk to me like that, ni**a. I'm love, n***a! Yo, we're having a good time. Why you wanna come at me like that, god? You got a problem? You really taking over my energy right now? What did I do to you? Do you know who I am?" Diddy continued. However, it was clear to everyone that Ferguson was not taking the bait, and was not amused with the 52-year-old rapper's Joker antics. Diddy finally dropped the act and revealed his identity to the actor. After they made up and embraced, Diddy invited him to his afterparty and told him to "change [his] vibration" before resuming his character.
According to reports, Diddy also came across Tyler The Creator, who, unlike Ferguson, was enthralled by the rapper's antics. Tyler was seen grinning and enjoying the theatrics, he even said, "this is top tier."
Fans had nothing but good things to say about Diddy's take on the "Batman" antagonist.
"You can't tell me [Diddy] didn't just earn a legit audition to be the next Joker. Bruh was in FULL character for an entire night," wrote Will Blackmon, NFL veteran.
