Selena Gomez just released her new song AND the lyric video to her new song My Mind & Me, and we are instantly obsessed.

We have watched Selena Gomez grow up in front of our eyes. From her days as a child star on Wizards of Waverly Place to her current role on the well-loved show Only Murders in the Building in which she stars alongside comedy icons Steve Martin and Martin Short, her life has been very public. Even though the star has fought to keep most of her personal life private, celebrity certainly has its impact. Gomez has struggled with illness, both physical and mental. Today, she spoke about them through song.

Just a day before the release of her Apple TV+ documentary, the long-time star has released a new single titled My Mind & Me. She has also released an official lyric video to the song. The song is one of powerful, beautifully lyrical honesty. Through her melodic structure she opens up about her struggles with mental health and the ongoing battles she fights in her mind that the world is unable to see. For someone who has been in the public eye for so long, it can be easy to overlook the struggles she is facing within.

Though the song gently lilts, its honest power screams, reaching out to those who are desperate to feel seen. We applaud Selena Gomez's beautiful truth in this song.

Her documentary, which goes by the same title, My Mind & Me, will be released on Apple TV+ tomorrow.
