Rihanna ‘Lift Me Up’: Singer Gives Fans a Glimpse of Latest Music Video’s Behind the Scenes [Watch]

Rihanna broke the internet after releasing a new song last week after years of hiatus. Although the pop star's new track sounds different from the ones that she had put out in the past, fans still appreciate the effort she exerted for "Wakanda Forever's" official soundtrack.

More recently, the "What's My Name" hitmaker gave fans a glimpse of what went down behind the scenes of the music video for "Lift Me Up."

The Fenty Beauty founder took to Instagram to share a video where she can be seen working on set of the now-popular visuals.

In the caption, she expressed her gratitude to Autumn Durald Arkapaw from "Black Panther" who also directed the music video.

"an honor getting one of the illest @addp from Black Panther directing this music video!! Shout outs to you and your entire team for bringing this visual together for such a special record!" she wrote.

Rihanna's 'Lift Me Up' Success, More Updates

According to Billboard, the song is a tribute for the late actor Chadwick Boseman who died at the age of 43 in 2020 after battling colon cancer.

The latest release sounds different from the dance pop Rihanna is known in the industry as the song featured an airy vocals accompanied with an acoustic guitar.

"Lift Me Up" immediately became popular to fans as many listeners anticipated Rihanna's return to the music industry.

"Lift Me Up" immediately landed at number one on the platform's Hot Trending Songs chart.

As of this writing, Rihanna has not announced if there's a new album coming in the next few months, but many fans are waiting for the return of her Savage x Fenty fashion show which will be released on Amazon Prime on November 9.

The iconic fashion show's fourth installment will feature star-studded guests like Bella Poarch, Joan Smalls, Cara Delevingne, Somi Liu, Precious Lee, Kornbread, Lily Singh, Taylour Paige, Irina Shayk, and many more.

Johnny Depp is also set to appear on the show, but he would not walk the runway. TMZ reported that the actor will have a "star moment" of his own.

In addition, the pop star is also set to perform at the 2023 Super Bowl halftime show.
