For lack of a better term, Sebastian Bach and Michael Sweet finally kiss and made up during their appearance at Kiss Kruise. The former invited the latter on stage, all in the spirit of rock 'n' roll.
According to reports, Bach and Sweet settled their years-long feud behind closed doors but decided to announce that they have buried the hatchet onstage.
"In the spirit of rock and roll music... We've only got one life, we're lucky to be here - from our Lord Jesus, God, I'm being totally serious right now," said the former Skid Row frontman.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to welcome to the stage Mr. Michael Sweet of Stryper. Rock 'n' roll brings us together, that's what rock and roll [do], let's hear it right now... Life is too short!"
Fueled Fire
The feud started back in 2016 when the Stryper singer shared a video of a young girl covering Skid Row's "I Remember You."
In the caption, he wrote that her performance "smokes the original singer," referring to Bach. he reportedly also called the Canadian native a "tool" in the comments.
When word got to Bach, he was furious and did not let it slide. Went on Twitter and called Sweet a "p***y."
Sweet tried to make amends and even posted a lengthy explanation on Facebook. In the post, he explained that Bach was not interested in accepting his apology.
Fast forward to 2022, the pair explained why it took so long for them end their beef.
"The internet happened," Bach solemnly said. "[...] And everybody reads shit about themselves online that they don't like, and then they say something back. So it never ends."
Sweet echoed his sentiments, "You know, one thing said is maybe misconstrued or misunderstood, and another thing is said in retaliation, and then it heats up and people start fueling the fire and it just becomes a nightmare."
To seal the deal, Sweet shared a picture of him and Bach hugging with the caption, "One of the best moments of my life. Forgiveness. When you can forgive, you can do anything. Brothers."
A toast to Bach and Sweet's friendship!
