Ever wondered what actually happened to the kid who interviewed Nicki Minaj backstage at the recent New York's Power 105.1 Powerhouse concert?
The TikTok video that had gone viral had more to it, including the Queen of Rap, Nicki Minaj spitting some words of wisdom to the young Jazzy.
According to Complex, Nicki Minaj is the latest of the many notable music figures that the young reporter interviewed on her channel.
Jazzy's World TV currently has over 110,000 subscribers to date.
The 12-year-old Brooklyn native is someone who doesn't beat around the bush. She immediately asked the 2022 MTV Video Vanguard Awardee for her advice on young people who would want to follow in her footsteps to success.
Minaj responded happily: "I think that you have to have faith in God, and I think that you have to be consistent.
"You have to work very hard, you can't expect anyone to give you anything, you cannot expect to be treated differently. You gotta work so, so, so hard...and what you're doing really has to be your passion, not something that you woke up and someone told you to [do]," she furthered.
Aside from their shared love for New York, Jazzy interviewed Minaj on her experiences at NYC's renowned LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts. Minaj attended the school before catapulting to fame.
"Well, because I got to meet other people around my age that loved to do what I do. I get to meet new people that sing, people that dance,
people that paint, people that play instruments, and I felt right at home," Nicki revealed.
Apparently, Jazzy herself wanted to go to LaGuardia High, too, after finishing middle school. She went on to cheekily ask Nicki to "put a good word" for her.
Minaj, enthused with the child's enthusiasm, happily did too.
"LaGuardia, Please make this girl a student because clearly she's already out here doing it big and she's very talented!" Nicki asked.
Aside from Minaj, Jazzy also had the chance to interview other hip-hop mega weights like Jay-Z and Kendrick Lamar, to name a few.
Fans were captivated by the inspiring interaction between the two.
"Nicki has always been so inspirational telling people to stay in school and paying for her fans college tuitions she is unbelievable," a fan commented on Youtube.
To date, Jazzy's video of Minaj has already racked up over 60,000 views on Youtube.
